    Scotland flanker Luke Crosbie headlines triple back-row deal at Edinburgh

    Scotland flanker Luke Crosbie has signed a two-year contract extension with Edinburgh.

    The 28-year-old, who has spent his total profession to this point within the Scottish capital, has been joined by fellow flankers Connor Boyle, 25 and Tom Dodd, 27, in extending their keep, all of whom have endured injury-blighted campaigns.

    “I want to be a leader within this group, and I genuinely feel like the club continues to go from strength to strength, both on and off the field. I’m excited to be a part of that journey moving forward.”

    Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt added: “Luke is a hugely important player for Edinburgh Rugby, and his re-signing is implausible information for the membership.

    “His toughness and immense pleasure in representing his hometown are key attributes that set the usual inside our squad.

    “Luke’s expertise and management will probably be invaluable in guiding our gifted group of back-row forwards, a lot of whom are native lads themselves, over the following two years. Securing a top quality operator like Luke in our pack is a big increase for us.”
