    Crimson Bull’s Max Verstappen held the lead from pole in the beginning of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, defending aggressively from Oscar Piastri as drama unfolded behind.

    Verstappen and Piastri went wheel-to-wheel into the primary nook with the polesitter taking to the Flip 1 run off to guard his lead. By way of group radio, Piastri voiced that the positions must be switched.

    The stewards would quickly agree, with Verstappen handed a five-second penalty for leaving the monitor and gaining benefit.

    At Flip 4, the drama continued with Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda colliding and spinning in unison into the partitions, inflicting the Security Automotive to be deployed. Whereas Gasly retired on the spot, Tsunoda was in a position to proceed in his Crimson Bull.
