Paul George: Probably the most irritating factor about final season was, clearly, I got here in wholesome. I didn’t have any hiccups. I spent the entire offseason engaged on my physique, getting wholesome. Then I get to Philly. Preseason, I get damage. And from that time on, I used to be like—you recognize, I didn’t give it full time to heal. However I had expectations. I didn’t wish to depart them hanging. I needed to go on the market and play. However as soon as I used to be on the market, I used to be like, “Rattling, one thing ain’t proper.” I didn’t have my burst. I couldn’t transfer. I couldn’t pin what it was. Clearly, the hyperextension in my knee was nonetheless bothering me. I had the brace for a very long time. From the brace, I began growing a quad tendon damage. Then that began to go flat on me. So I began taking medication to numb it up. Then I had an damage I didn’t even learn about. That’s once I discovered I had a torn adductor. That complete time, I simply couldn’t transfer.
