Alycia Parks, Bernarda Pera and Hailey Baptiste are set to hitch Asia Muhammad and Desirae Krawczyk on the U.S. Billie Jean King Cup Staff this weekend in Bratislava, Slovakia. Jessica Pegula, Danielle Collins and McCartney Kessler have withdrawn from the tie.
STATISFACTION: ALL THE BJK CUP CHAMPIONS IN HISTORY
Parks, Pera and Baptiste will make their BJK Cup debut. Parks, 24, is at present ranked No. 54 in singles. Whereas Pera is ranked No. 76 in singles and Baptiste is ranked 86. The U.S. staff will tackle Denmark and and Slovakia within the three-team group this weekendin round-robin-style play, with the winner of the group qualifying for the 2025 Finals in Shenzhen, China. The ties are best-of-three matchups with two singles and one doubles match, performed on an indoor laborious courtroom inside Peugeot Enviornment at Slovakia’s Nationwide Tennis Heart.
