New York Mets proper fielder Juan Soto performed like a $765M man on Monday.

In a 10-8 Labor Day win over the AL-leading Detroit Tigers (80-59), Soto had arguably his greatest sport with the Mets, ending 2-of-3 with two walks, a house run, a triple and 6 runs batted in, which tied a career high.

It was the type of efficiency the Mets envisioned from the four-time All-Star after they signed him to a historic, 15-year, $765M contract throughout free company final December.

Within the high of the fourth, Soto hit a two-out, two-strike grand slam off Tigers beginning pitcher Charlie Morton, whom Detroit acquired from the Baltimore Orioles on the July 31 commerce deadline. Soto ripped the ball 419 toes to proper centerfield for his fourth residence run in 4 video games.
