    In a post-race look on the F1 Nation podcast, Norris set out the elements that he feels led as much as his Saturday shunt, in addition to how he bounced again from it.

    “I used to be fairly relaxed,” he stated of his mindset within the build-up to the race. “I put in my headphones for the primary time ever. I’ve by no means worn headphones on the grid. It’s after I carry out effectively, after I’m having enjoyable and I’m relaxed.

    “I need to be pole, I need to win, I need to be excellent, and I believe I would like to simply accept a bit of bit extra that I’m not going to be excellent, and I’m making errors as a result of I’m attempting to be excellent, moderately than the opposite method round.”
