    Championship chief Oscar Piastri picked up from the place he left off in Saudi Arabia by topping the only real follow session for the Miami Grand Prix.

    The McLaren driver set the tempo with an effort within the closing moments of the session that was curtailed 4 minutes early when Haas’ Ollie Bearman discovered the wall at Flip 12.

    Piastri’s 1m 27.128s benchmark proved 0.356s quicker than Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, whereas Purple Bull’s Max Verstappen was third – an extra 0.074s in arrears.
