The Spectrum Middle is silent proper now.
Jaylen Wells is down on the ground. A stretcher was referred to as for after a tough fall after Wells was undercut. The Grizzlies are huddling as a crew and saying a prayer. – 8:03 PM

Extra on this storyline
Sam Perley: KJ Simpson has been assessed a Flagrant-2 foul and been ejected from the game. Looks like he lost his balance/got turned around getting back in transition and inadvertently clipped Wells mid-air, inflicting the awkward fall. Simpson seemed fairly shaken, no ailing intentions in any respect. -via Twitter / April 8, 2025
NBA Communications: Other nominees... West: Stephon Citadel (SAS), Zach Edey and Jaylen Wells (MEM) East: Matas Buzelis (CHI), Kyshawn George (WAS) and Kel’el Ware (MIA) -via Twitter / March 4, 2025
Averaging 11.3 factors, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists whereas changing 37.4% of his 4.9 perimeter makes an attempt per sport, Jaylen Wells’ resume with the Memphis Grizzlies strongly helps his case for the 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the 12 months award. “I mean, I don’t really focus on it,” Wells told RG of the ROY race. “I’m focused on getting a championship. And if it just so happens… I feel like if I’m playing winning basketball, it should fall right into my hands. So that’s kinda how my mindset is.” The counting stats aren’t even telling the total story of his true impression. -via Responsible Gaming / February 25, 2025
