If he had a do-over, Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn would’ve sat quarterback Jayden Daniels throughout a blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
With the Commanders trailing 38-7 midway via the fourth quarter, Quinn left Daniels within the sport. The QB then suffered a dislocated left elbow after being sacked at Seattle’s four-yard line, subsequently exiting in an air forged.

Firstly of his Monday information convention, Quinn addressed his questionable choice. He admitted that it was a mistake to maintain Daniels in throughout the 38-14 loss.
“I do know lots of you could have been asking in regards to the thought means of Jayden being within the sport in that scenario,” the coach told the media. “I get that. I have been excited about it, actually, nonstop, too. For me, the reply is ‘I missed it.’ … In fact, he might scramble. It is Jayden, it is what he is particular at. It is 100% on me.”
Quinn taking accountability nonetheless will not save the Commanders. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Daniels’ elbow damage is predicted to sideline him indefinitely, and it stays unsure whether or not he’ll return this season.
