Cameron Norrie launched his offseason with life-changing experiences.
Former world No. 8 Norrie acquired engaged to long-time companion Louise Jacobi—and the pair celebrated their particular second on South African safari.
The 30-year-old Norrie, who met Jacobi on the 2019 US Open shortly after his twenty fourth birthday, shared the joyous information on Instagram.
“A particular second on our journey in South Africa,” Norrie posted alongside an image of Jacobi kissing him. “Cheers to a phenomenal life along with my greatest good friend (Observe: actual engagement ring to return).”
It’s been a strong second half of the season for Norrie, who began the season struggling first spherical defeats in six of his first 10 tournaments.
Norrie turned his season round reaching the Geneva semifinals on purple clay then burst into the Wimbledon quarterfinals bowing to Carlos Alcaraz. Norrie upset Alcaraz on the Rolex Paris Masters final month then wrapped up his 2025 season reaching the Metz last dropping to American Learner Tien in a third-set tiebreaker.
The second-half season surged spiked Norrie’s rating again as much as No. 27 placing him in place for an Australian Open seeding a shot to rise greater following his 2025 first-round Melbourne defeat to Matteo Berrettini.
