Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is coping with an arm challenge at an inopportune time.
The rookie is sitting at No. 4 on the Browns’ depth chart early in August. Sanders, who fell to the fifth spherical of April’s draft, must make the most of each rep he can at coaching camp to make his case that he deserves enjoying time.
On Saturday, Sanders ran sprints after practice with a number of of his teammates after lacking “Hungry Dawgs” reps. He solely threw passes through the set up interval within the early portion of follow, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
Solely veteran quarterback Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel took reps through the group interval. Kenny Pickett missed the interval as he rehabs from a hamstring damage, and Sanders was stored out on account of arm soreness.
“Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel took all of the group reps immediately with Kenny Pickett (hamstring) and Shedeur Sanders (arm soreness) each sitting them out,” Cabot posted on X.
