CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Annika Sorenstam shot a 3-under 70 on Thursday to take the first-round lead within the U.S. Senior Ladies’s Open at San Diego Nation Membership.
Sorenstam gained the match in 2021 after profitable U.S. Ladies’s Open titles in 1995, ’96 and 2006. The 54-year-old Swede gained 72 instances on the LPGA Tour.
“I am more than happy with the primary spherical,” Sorenstam stated. “I felt fairly stable from tee to inexperienced. I feel I ended up in some good method pictures on the correct aspect of the flag, which may be very useful on this course.”
