    TGL championship highlights: Atlanta wins SoFi Cup, beats New York 4-3

    The TGL finals continued on Tuesday night time as Atlanta Drive Golf Membership and New York Golf Membership performed the second match of a best-of-three collection for the inaugural TGL championship.

    Atlanta Drive GC took a 1-0 lead within the collection on Monday, beating New York GC 6-5 in a intently contested match that got here right down to the ultimate gap. In Tuesday’s match, Atlanta pulled off a late comeback win, beating New York 4-3 to finish the sweep and declare the SoFi Cup.

    Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay and Justin Thomas have been energetic for Atlanta, whereas Lucas Glover was inactive. For New York, Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young and Rickie Fowler have been in motion. Matt Fitzpatrick didn’t play.

    After slowly chipping away at New York’s lead in singles, Atlanta lastly took a lead on Gap 14. Fowler hit his first shot into the bunker, opening the door for Atlanta to throw the hammer. Horschel adopted up by hitting a virtually 18-foot putt to offer Atlanta a 4-3 lead earlier than sealing the win on Gap 15.
