Matteo Berrettini is prepared and raring to go for the 2025 Asian swing.
After practically two and a half months with out competing because of damage, the previous No. 6 within the PIF ATP Rankings on Wednesday confirmed he’ll compete on the upcoming Lynk & Co Hangzhou Open, a hard-court ATP 250 that begins on 17 September.
“Last prep ✅ See you in Hangzhou! 🇨🇳 🔨🤼♂️”, wrote Berrettini in an Instagram post that included video of him coaching on courtroom.
Berrettini is 13-11 for the 2025 season, in keeping with the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, a tally that included High 10 wins towards Novak Djokovic in Doha in February and Alexander Zverev in Monte-Carlo in April. In his most up-to-date aggressive outing, the 29-year-old fell to Kamil Majchrzak in 5 units within the first spherical at Wimbledon, and he then missed the whole North American hard-court swing because of damage.
Berrettini will be a part of his fellow former High 10 stars Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev within the Hangzhou draw. Hometown favorite Wu Yibing and the in-form Alexander Bublik can even compete in Zhejiang province, whereas Marin Cilic is the defending champion.
