    Grigor Dimitrov handed another brutal break in Wimbledon loss

    Grigor Dimitrov simply cannot catch a break.

    Throughout the fourth spherical of the Wimbledon males’s singles match, the 34-year-old — No. 21 on the planet rankings — suffered a pectoral damage in opposition to No. 1 Jannik Sinner, forcing him to retire from the match regardless of successful the primary two units and being tied within the third, 6-3, 7-5, 2-2.

    Per Wimbledon.com’s IBM SlamTracker, Dimitrov had a 63% probability of successful the match on the time of his damage. He had clearly outplayed Sinner as much as the purpose of his damage, holding a 36-19 benefit in winners and hitting 10 extra aces, 14-4.

    Afterward, Sinner acknowledged his unlucky path to reaching the quarterfinals, saying, “I do not take this as a win in any respect.”
