Newcastle Falcons’ Jack Metcalf has joined rugby league outfit Leeds Rhinos on a one-month trial.
The Yorkshire-born again grew up taking part in rugby league earlier than embarking on a profession in union, however will mark his return with a Leeds facet that facet in fourth-place within the Tremendous League ladder.
