    Andrea Stella has admitted that the contact that occurred between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri within the Canadian Grand Prix was “not acceptable”, with the McLaren staff boss conceding that Norris “paid a value within the championship” after retiring from the race in consequence.

    Norris had been chasing Piastri in a battle for fourth place in the course of the closing phases of the race when he initially bought forward on the hairpin. After Piastri then retook the place, Norris tried once more to discover a well beyond on the straight, however the Briton bumped into the again of his staff mate’s automotive.
