    Severe weather delays Round 3 start times at PGA Championship

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Inclement climate has pushed again tee occasions for Saturday’s third spherical of the PGA Championship at Quail Hole Membership by greater than three hours.

    Play was scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m. ET, however play was suspended due to lightning.

    The PGA of America introduced that the 74 gamers who made the 36-hole lower would play the third spherical off break up tees on Nos. 1 and 10 in threesomes beginning at 11:43 a.m. ET.

    Venezuela’s Jhonattan Vegas, who has a two-stroke lead, will tee off on No. 1 with Matthieu Pavon (6 underneath) and Matt Fitzpatrick (6 underneath) at 1:55 p.m. ET.

    World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler (5 underneath), Max Homa (5 underneath) and Si Woo Kim (6 underneath) will begin on No. 1 at 1:44 p.m. ET.

    Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who needed to work to make the lower at 1 over, will begin on No. 10 with defending PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele (1 over) and Chris Kirk (1 over) at 1:38 p.m. ET.

    Inclement climate disrupted gamers’ apply rounds at Quail Hole on Monday and Tuesday, leaving the course soaked after greater than 4 inches of rain fell.

    Scheffler, Schauffele and others criticized the PGA of America for not permitting the sphere to play with most popular lies, which might permit gamers to raise, clear and place their balls inside a chosen space.
