    Wu Ashun rallies with 5 birdies on back nine, wins China Open

    SHANGHAI — Wu Ashun made a Sunday cost on the again 9 with 5 birdies for a 6-under 65 that enabled him to beat a four-shot deficit and win the China Open for the second time.

    The victory got here 10 years after the 39-year-old Wu first gained the China Open. It was his fifth profession victory on the European tour.

    Li Haotong and Eugenio Chacarra of Spain, who started the ultimate spherical tied for the lead at Improve Anting Golf Membership, every closed with a 1-over 72.

    Wu was three photographs behind Chacarra when he made the flip and he promptly ran off three birdies in a four-hole stretch. The Spaniard, taking part in behind him, had three bogeys on the again 9 and fell again.

    Wu completed on 14 underneath to win by one shot over Jordan Smith of England, who birdied his final gap for a 67. Yannik Paul of Germany shot 69 and completed alone in third, whereas Li and Chacarra shared fourth place with Zecheng Dou (70).

    The European tour stays in China yet one more week for the Hainan Traditional.
