    Max Verstappen scored his first victory of the 2025 season with a masterful drive to P1 within the Japanese Grand Prix, the World Champion holding off the McLaren pair of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to say a fourth consecutive win on the Suzuka Circuit.

    After making a robust begin from pole place, Verstappen held an honest lead over the McLarens all through the early levels. Drama then ensued through the pit cease part when the Dutchman’s barely sluggish cease noticed Norris – who had pitted on the identical lap – attempt to go side-by-side on the pit exit, ensuing within the McLaren man having to take to the grass whereas Verstappen remained forward.
