    Lewis Hamilton had a lonely race en path to fifth place, making up a few spots following his post-Qualifying penalty for impeding Verstappen, with rookie Isack Hadjar taking a superb sixth over Haas’ Esteban Ocon and crew mate Liam Lawson.

    Williams bagged a double factors end with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz in P9 and P10, denying the Mercedes of George Russell, who grew pissed off at Albon’s defensive driving earlier within the race and picked up a drive-through for an unlawful overtake.

    Haas driver Ollie Bearman placed on a powerful restoration from his 10-place grid penalty and a few wild moments within the opening phases to take the chequered flag in twelfth place, adopted by fellow rookies Franco Colapinto (Alpine) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber).

    Bortoleto hit the obstacles at Portier on the opening lap after a scrap with Kimi Antonelli, however bounced again to complete simply forward of Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin, skilled crew mate Nico Hulkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda’s Pink Bull.

    Antonelli was the ultimate finisher in 18th, having accomplished his pit stops extraordinarily late within the race, with Fernando Alonso retiring for Aston Martin amid engine hassle and Alpine’s Pierre Gasly dropping out through a conflict with Tsunoda exiting the tunnel.
